Easiest Way to fix ”Plugged in not charging in Windows 10” problem. No need to remove battery & no need to uninstall Microsoft ”ACPI Complaint Control Method”. Just listen carefully & follow it. I got it’s working & safe for trial. It’s working or not please let me know by your comment.If it’s not working then in stead of last step- enable again that driver after plugging the AC Adapter.

Thank you for your video!! That really saved me from desperation!!
Here is what I did:
1) Disable the two drivers under battery in Device Manager
2) shut down the PC
3) unplug
4) press the power button for about 30 seconds
5) turn on the PC
6) enable both drivers in (1)
7) wait for like 1 minute and it is finally charging again!!
when i removed the ac adapter laptop shut down

By this method it may show charging , but it does not charge the battery… Issue still persists…
I have done this method even after replacing new battery and new AC adapter , Still its not charging…… Same issue….
This same issue is seen in HP , Dell , Alienware ,Acer and so on…..
I think this is definitely a bug related to windows updates and software incompatibility….
This has nothing to do with hardware I guess , and everyone is going on replacing the hardwares to save their laptops.
Nobody has any solution to this issue…. Everybody has copy pasted same thing everywhere in the internet…

Thanks – I will try this – to temporarily disable a battery-saving app (that I think was installed during a windows update, but I'm not sure) which limits charging to 80%. I only want to override this occasionally, when for example we have a hurricane and I want to maximise on time of laptop during any power outage (which also enables me to charge my phone off it).

I have Acer aspire es1572 .my battery report is good enough but it doesn't turn on without charger .while pluging in power light (orange light ) is blinking .if power ac adapter is removed from laptop, laptop going off quickly.
