I love the pre Android and ios operating systems. Very lightweight unlike a lof of Android phones that are embedded with a bunch of Google bullshit and other apps i don't need so my ram usage is over 60% all the time. Yeah, i know i could root my phone, or get an iPhone, but it's whatever.

The design —I feel— was still ugly when it came out
Great phome i loved it
This was my first smartphone back in 2007. I bought it from Unicel in Vermont.
I remember this being pretty expensive back in the day. Great phone though!
Can I charge this phone through Mini USB?
I have a e62 and mine is missing the Nokia logo under the earpiece but it still works very well and it works on modern cellular networks
Please! Never sell it ! ❤
I have two of these 🙂 and believe it or not you can actually still watch youtube videos on this phone in 2015!! obviously not in HD but anyway it works pretty well. Im in Europe where this phone was labeled E61 (not e62) and it has got WLAN here, model E61 that is. In 2007 E61i came out same form factor and with a 2mpx camera.
The Eseries were nice phones! I have a E63,E65 and a E71.
Oh my god that thing is huge
Straight up collectors item!!! DON'T SELL IT!!!
A guy like you must be using a motorola select 3000e or a startac 7000, they still use sim cards and cost the same as a new modern phone, the difference is that the startac will last 15 more years while the iphone's buttons will break in a year, then the battery comes in and then the new iphone comes out, i am using an iphone 5 with ios 6 because that's what an iphone is for almost 2 years and the power button broke twice, i don't feel like this is a phone for me at least…
Its funny that this was a "smartphone" back then. Now days they consider these types of phones to be feature phones. I got a nokia c3-00 when I started college which this sort of reminds me of. I got it for 60$ on AT&T GoPhone and by their detection which determines the device as a feature phone or smart phone to restrict the plans you are able to use states it as a feature phone and I was able to only use small data plans on pay as you go. A blackberry bold which I feel is similar in functionality to my nokia was detected as a smartphone and the data was turned off unless I changed my rate plan to the much more expensive plan.
You can use the galaxy s4 and s5 with gloves along with the htc one m7, m8
I remember that Nokia released some really interesting phones back then. Even though I'm a happy iPhone user, I've always wanted to have a Nokia N90/N93 because of the pretty kickass design. Nowadays, you only see boring black or white slabs of plastic that look the same to each other (i.e Samsung phones, which are all very similar).
Maybe I should go on eBay and buy one, to use it as a backup. They look nice even today.
i would love to have that one in 2007 when i got my first cell phone.
Oooh what's in the mystery box? * crosses fingers it's a 3330 * (Well most likely it won't)
2.5 mm is also called Microjack
Hope you do more vintage phone videos. I find them to be really interesting!
The audio jack is a 2.5mm jack. some landline phones have it,mostly just meant for headsets and such.
You can upgrade the memory with an SD card, something you still can't do with the iPhone.
Just put your T-Mobile sim card from your iPhone in it….. Gsm networks are not like CDMA you can just swap your sim in any gsm phone and it will work…. I swap between my Xperia Z2 and a Moto RAZR V3
I always kinda liked these Nokia's, had used a few Symbian phones before and always reckoned them to be quite understandable, easy-to-follow, yes compared to todays what you see is what you can touch, these can be difficult to do certain tasks, and the settings menus and setup options could be very confusing to the non-geek crowd, but I still liked these phones, especially the full keyboard, very cool for the year.
I like the size of that phone…..I have a Nokia e71x, I don't like the keyboard on it. Would have been cool to see the e71x hardware in this phone casing. Wifi and camera included 🙂
