When released in 2015 the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL were tasked with saving the Windows Phone brand from failure which at the time, was loosing to IOS and Android. Many years after it was released, its specs still hold up today and, in a market dominated by phones such as the iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy S20 and the One Plus 8..does the Lumia 950 still have a chance?

My Android phone just broke down and I had my old Lumia 950 around. I'm using it right now until I can replace my phone and forgot how much I liked this OS. Camera is still impressive. Beats most newer cameras today and it's 6 years old.

Why post this as a title "Using The Lumia 950 in 2021?" when the video was posted April 2020? Stop trying to mislead people into thinking what you can do back then you can do now, because I have the 1520 & you cant even open Microsoft Store or sign in to your Microsoft Account anymore.

Its ironic that Android and google is so popular in the market place. Apart from Samsung standardising Android to an almost usable level its still a bit of a dogs breakfast. The Google AndroidOne version (I have) and cheaper versions are just bewilderingly bad for 2020. I long for the quick simplicity and intuitive UX that was Windows Phone 8.1 and eventually Windows 10 mobile once they got it up to spec. The benefit with Microsoft is they just sold stuff. They still just want to sell stuff. But people have this view that they are sinister, it is Google that wants all your info, and Apple that wants to lock you in. The Irony. We deserve what we have got.
